Our Story

The saying, "30 years of experience at the age of 35" pretty much sums up Austin's journey into construction.

Austin would work alongside his father and grandfather on various projects they found themselves on. Throughout middle school and high school, times were really tough for his family. They found themselves living in different hotel rooms across the country, chasing odd jobs and remodeling the hotels they stayed in as a form of payment. Austin truly got a sense of what hard work was and how construction could provide for his family even at the lowest of times.

Austin graduated from Oregon State University with an Environmental Science degree. However, he knew his passion was within the trade. He enrolled in a four-year apprenticeship program as an exterior/interior specialist, where he learned valuable skills and knowledge from some of the PNW's largest companies. His attention to detail, efficiency, leadership, and dedication to the companies he worked for ultimately got him recognized as Apprentice of the Year through the Oregon's Carpenters Union.

He was a journeyman for only a few years until he was recruited as a project engineer for one of the largest drywall and metal stud framing companies in the PNW. He learned how to maintain budgets and all corresponding documents tied to each project. Pushing his career path even further, he found himself working for a few other companies with different specialties, really understanding each scope and how they all worked together and their subcontractors. This ultimately led him to follow his dream of owning his own company and one day mentoring young carpenters with quality training and leadership.

Austin and his wife, Katlin, have been married for 13 years and have two beautiful daughters. Together, they have owned and remodeled their three homes and Katlin's business in Downtown Lebanon, all while getting their children involved and teaching them life-long skills.

When he is not working on a project, you can find them on the lake, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors.
